Appearance
Vivi is... not normal, when it comes to appearance. Glowing yellow eyes peek out from beneath a wide-brimmed, yellow hat covered with stitches from places it tore, pointed at the tip in an odd imitation of a witches hat. His entire face is shrouded in shadow from said hat, as well as the high collar of the blue jacket that he constantly wears. His hands are covered by red, leather gloves and the large white cuffs at the end of his jacket's sleeves. His pants are way too large for him, and ivory and green striped, held up by a large, thick leather belt with a silver buckle. On his feet are brown hiking boots, worn down from use.

He stands at around 4', but his body type is inditerminable beneath all of his clothes. His arms are thin, as can be seen by the tightness of his jacket sleeves, so people have come to assume he isn't as portly as his clothes suggest.

Personality
Skittish and easily frightened, Vivi is definitely NOT someone you'd consider brave. In fact, he often just sticks himself with the person he thinks could protect him the best. Or object. It's not strange to be walking past a table, or a large rock, and have Vivi appear from beneath or behind it. He speaks little, mainly because he's usually too scared. Even though he's fairly capable of handling himself (mainly because he has quite a handle on Black Magic, even at his young age) he feels completely inadaquate and therefore just tries to find ways to avoid everything.

Despite that, he's a very nice kid--the kind that you just can't help but like, or try to protect. He makes friends easily, which is definitely to his advantage, because he could always use someone to protect him. He bonds quickly to people, so if you help him once, don't expect to get rid of him anytime soon.

Biography
In all honesty, no one really knows where Vivi came from. He just kind of appeared one day on the Islands, years back, and no one really questioned it--stranger things had happened before. He had just shown up and started going to school, and before people knew it, he had managed to squeeze into many of their hearts, becoming somewhat of a younger brother to most of the other kids.

As he grew, he found himself able to cast basic Black Magic (as well as one healing spell, but that's really only in emergencies, and he's never actually tried it), but his skittish personality never changed, despite his ability to protect himself. He prefers not having to deal with fighting and such because it's SCARY and it should be left up to the big and strong people, like Barret.
